At least 73 killed and a thousand injured at a match between Masry and al-Ahly in Port Said. Was al-Ahly the club Benji was signing for at one point ?

There's obviously more to this than meets the eye...nothing really to do with football at all.

73 dead is just horrific and the footage is frightening.

Yes current events are very worrying. Also the news that two tourists have been kidnapped from St Catherine's Monastery near Sharm el Sheikh. I'm going back to Egypt in April, I hope the situation has improved by then ! :greengrin

:agree:Dreadful turn of events for a long-suffering people. Can't see the situation getting any better, unfortunately, as the military government are behaving just as abominably as military governments always do.

Fair play to you for going back there - it's a beautiful country - but take care - I'm running out of people to argue with on here! :greengrin

Hibs.net has been a depressing place to be until recently BB ! Don't know where LH has gone - I can assure you I haven't subjected him to extraordinary rendition, or anything like that:greengrin
