The two week rule only applies when someone has received one yellow card in a game that takes them over the points threshold.

He was shown a red card on Saturday so he misses the next game in that competition, regardless of how long after Saturday, this game was.

If this weekend's match was a league game, McPake would be banned but because it's in a different competition, he is eligible to play.

He will be suspended for the Aberdeen game the following weekend.
