Yes, well up to yesterday it is. Fenlon has brought in a few, and will hopefully bring in more, so this is a new team now and cant be judged yet.

It provides even more misery for some to self indulgently wallow in?

i would say the team we have today looks better than the one we had 4 weeks ago so no this is not the worst team iv seen . We need to get behind the new manager and the new players to turn this around as they been asked to inpove calderwoods mess. i think calderwoods team had our worse defence iv ever seen but not the full team . Was this down to him or under funding from the board we never know but why did we start season with such a young defence i will never know. all good team have a experanced center half . station ,rae ,huges, jones, jack, suzzie, thats what missing .:flag:

Have only followed football since the 03/04 Williamson season so yes very much so the worst Hibs team I have seen.

Edit:To the take a point made above we aren't as bad as we where 4 weeks ago, but at least we are scoring goals and creating chances, out defence is the thing that needs to improve the most.

I think the same , we have become a soft touch , no team can shake with worry coming to play us anyone

no chance the team that got relegated in 80 wer murder and didnt get much better in the years after, to tell the truth apart from maybe 6 or 7 seasons since then we have nt had a consistently good side since eddie turnbulls era, but that was when players wanted to play for a team and wernt lured west by the promise of a seat on the bench for a higher wage.

A few months earlier they were taking Rangers to three games in the cup final & they managed to get points of the infirm during the season they went down.

Absolutely not.
Not only that but I see signs of improvement and optimism in the way the squad is shaping.

McArthur, Brazil, Duncan, Rae, Paterson, McNamara, Callaghan, McLeod, Higgins, Best, Willie Murray
Subs George Stewart Peter Cormack Jim Brown

OK we also had Joe Ward, Duncan Lambie and Bobby Hutchison but more than half of that first team squad would walk into todays team :agree:

Sad to say i remember back in the early sixties a team just about as bad, a change of regime did wonders for the side when someone actually knew what they were doing, could we be so lucky again ?.

Right enough, however, it'll take a win against the soap dodgers in the upcoming fixture to equal the record of the 79/80 squad in old squirm games. To be fair, Aberdeen ended that season as champions & the 5-0 win they had at ER, which clinched the title, was their second win out of the four league games against us that particular season, I'd certainly still have that team over the current one anyday.

They'd maybe not win, given their age, but they would certainly get goals.

Yes. Worse than that as I've posted elsewhere my 77 year old Hibs ST holding uncle says it's the worst Hibs team he's seen. He saw his first game aged 5.

I reckon Fenlon is better than the last two clowns we had as manager and that his signings will be enough to keep us up

Dunno. It's certainly up there.

I'd say blobby's team was slightly better - he had a young KT, Brown, Riordan and O'Connor.

Duffy's team were probably a similar standard to the current squad. If we can stay up this season then I guess the current team is better, although you could argue that the quality in the SPL had declined since Duffy's days.

We had some bad seasons under Miller but I was too young to remember the details. A few of them (Wright, Mc Ginley, Hunter) would walk in to our current team.

Definitely the worst squad of players I've witnessed, they need to average a point from each of their next 12 matches just to emulate Jim Duffy's team who ended the season with 30 points (from 36 games). I don't think this shower's got it in them?
