Anyone know if there's any relevance to us appointing a new director? Brian gilchrist Houston is his name I think.
Can't post the link as I'm posting this from my phone but on companies house website.
Wonder if he's done any work for red bull before! (Joke btw, cannae use smilies though)

By the looks of it he's also a director of Etourism Ltd, which is the company name for visitscotland.com

Called in to help drag us out of our current predicament apparently. I can exclusively reveal that the phone call from Petrie started with the line, ''Houston, we have a problem.''

maybe this new appointment could be a benifit for the club . A lot of fans are unhappy with the board and maybe its time for a new face to bring something new to the table . Time will tell :pfgwa

Does this mean that the cost of the Board has increased?

Non-Execs take no fee. Dunfermline used to charge the NxD's.

As far as I'm aware he's a non-executive director so no.

In the normal business world you would reasonably expect to pick up a fee for being an NxD, however, this is football and as a minimum any self respecting decent NxD would waive the fee for the team he should love. I wouldn't expect to pay to be an NxD otherwise it would be just vanity.
