Subway from the centre of Glasgow takes about 10 mins so yes.

Always go by train. Get of at glasgow queen street. Go to the subway and buy a return ticket as soon as you get to glasgow then you can go back to a pub or something and not have to que for a ticket at like 2ish. Bit of a que getting on the subway after the game but it doesn't take to long. Hope that helps :)

No O'Connor or Griffiths.

Rangers at 1/4 looks like free money, I'm afraid.

Train is my preference as well. Personally walk back after the game as the queues are a nightmare.

Wouldn't advise wearing any green - words can't describe how vile the Huns are.

Esp when Doyle swoops in with a last minute winner.

Just mind and avoid the turnstiles for the home fans:

Got underground once, they are vile individuals, could not believe just how vile anyone could be until I shared tube with them

The tube is OK depending on what time you go.

Remember seeing some weegie pikey calling some 15/16 year old girls in Hibs gear "fenian ****" once mind you and there's often jakes drinking buckfast singing their typical drivel.

Never had any bother on the tube before. Even had a laugh and shared a beer with a couple of huns once. Bet I get jumped or something on Saturday now lol

:agree: I'd rather walk than get the subway. It's probably quicker anyway.

My only (non-Inrenational) Ibrox experience was the Sproule hat-trick game. They didn't segregate the fans after the game so we were surrounded Huns on the way home. I had to keep pretending to cough cause I couldn't keep the smile off my face and didn't want to get a kick in.

It's a really nice stadium to be fair, shame about the people that use it.

...and the fact it's in a demilitarised zone.

Get the Paisley bus down from Union Street; I don't think it takes much longer and there's less chance of being eyeballed by der hun.

Fair point. Were you referring to area local to Ibrox or the whole of Glasgow.

Don't wear colours = vastly reduced chance of hassle.

One of my favourite away stadiums, tho the locals are like a social experiment gone horribly awry. Remember taking a wrong turn on exiting after the 3-0 cup game, and found myself, in colours, heading bk towards the tube station as their main stand emptied. Thought I was about to become a statistic, but escaped with a couple of 'Ya Hibby c***' from 14 year old spotty eejits.

That's all you need to do to enjoy the best game of the season - no hassles before or after game and a decent bevvy thrown in.

Last time I went on underground with my Dad and we got off at the wrong station (Ibrox) but didn't get any hassle at all.

Mind, he does look a bit scary nowadays. Those three teeth he's got left could give somebody a nasty nip

I've always found the subway fine. Never had any bother.

You hear songs and whatever that aren't particularly pleasant but its like having a entrepreneurial ned offer to mind your car for a fiver, its just what happens in Glasgow.

Never had any trouble when going to Ibrox on the underground or around the stadium.

Parkhead? Now, that's a different story. Always seems to be home fans looking for trouble there.
