Felt Pat got it wrong today.

O'Connor either wants away or can't be arsed but gets a game as he lurches back to fitness, Doyle did more in the 20 mins or so he was on. A front 3 of Griffiths, O'Connor and Doyle with Sproule on the bench might have worked but only if O'C had decided to turn up.

Booth improved immensely when pushed forward but was ripped for erse paper defensively. Everybody knows he's better going forward so why not play him there? I also felt Galbraith and Booth worked well together while Sproule and Booth were never on the same wavelength.

Get Hanlon to LB or on the bench, when did he last have a good game?

Hart was one of the few plus points in the defence.

Stevenson is steady but gets a nose bleed upon entering the 18 yard box.

It's pretty frustrating when O'Connor puts in performances like today. On his day, one of the best strikers in the league, but his inconsistency must make it difficult for Fenlon to select his forward line. In hindsight we should maybe have gone with Doyle and Griffiths. More pressing issue is the defence though, how do you select a defence out of what we have at our disposal?

Thought Hart could've done better in the lead up to their 3rd goal. If he heads the ball anywhere apart from directly to a Saints player we may have got a draw out of that game.

Nothing wrong with the selection IMO.

Quite simply, the manager was let down AGAIN by certain individials who should be ashamed of themselves. Sproule and O'Connor the biggest culprits.

The lack of professionalism, leadership, backbone and concentration in the team is almost beyond words. Look at that the team that finished the match today, only Hart and Brown could be classed with any sort of experience. We are relying on young boys who make mistakes to secure our SPL survival.

it could be argued that had stephens not given away a stupid freekick in the st.johnstone penalty box(when we were putting a bit of pressure on) then they wouldn't have got the ball back up our end so soon

The selection is wrong if he selects players, as you put it, that let us down again. He shouldnt be selecting players that recently, more often than not, dont turn up. GOC shouldnt be anywhere near the first 11 on performances like that but it may be because we are trying to sell him and therefore needs to be in the shop window. Sproule on recent performances shouldnt be near the first 11 either.
