He's a right-back, why the **** is he not playing there?

I assume because Hart was

lucky

Hart has played ok in the last 3 games. But playing 4 youngsters in the back would be asking for trouble

I thought Hart was solid today.

I didn't think he had a great game, and was looking forward to seeing him on from the start after his encouraging debut from the bench last week. Without seeing him at right back it's hard to say right now whether or not he is a better option there than Hart.

Thought Hart was OK today - apart from him losing the ball shortly before their 3rd

St J targeted Booth successfully and Fenlon should have changed things but didn't.

:agree: as they were targeting our left back, where they were ripping us to shreds.

Booth wasn't helped by the lack of support from Sproule.

One thread criticising Fenlon for playing a full back in midfield. Another is criticising him for not playing a full back in midfield. Who'd be a manager? LOL!

He had a good game and several times he broke up threatening chances...also contributed going forward

Partly true...fact that Sproule gives insufficient support to LB when defending also is a factor...I was hoping Smith at LB second half with Sproule Hooked and Booth pushed on a bit.

Needs to get away from OUR club, horrific defending, lost us our third goal!

Non-existent - unless you count running towards the opposition player in possession at 100mph.

Exactly. Hart is garbage but today was one of his least rubbish days.

I thought Hart and Francomb linked up well today.
i also thought he played alright after Spoony came on, but he swas defo better with Francomb.
As for the 3rd goal, he is not alone in blame. Stephens made sure he wasn't going past him one way, but no-one came to close him on the other side whichb gave him the space to turn and get the shot away.
at the moment i would like a new cb more than anything.

As much as we are talking about the flanks, unless we get a new centre half pairing and a defensive midfielder to cover the back four and try to link to the middle, we are just shifting the deck chairs.

Hart is absolutely rank.

He is up there with Ray Wilkins in terms of my most-hated hibs player.

By definition a defender hasn't had a good game if he makes an error which leads to a goal. I can forgive players being done by decent strikers but I can't deal with incompetence like that header before the 3rd. If he had any ability he would control the ball and do something with it. Instead he completely misjudges it and manages to gift it to the nearest player.

He is a shocking football player and a prime example of the legacy of Hughes/Calderwood. A weak, talentless shambles of a player. If he was playing in my back garden, I'd shut the curtains but somehow this farce of a player is playing for Hibs.

I appreciate Fenlon is trying to build structure and solidity by playing players in their preferred positions and Hart is the only RB we have but it's painful to watch that absolute clown.
