LEICESTER’S heavy defeat by Ulster last weekend had their coach, Richard Cockerill, moaning about the salary cap imposed on English clubs. If you are to believe him, this means that things are against them and so they can’t really compete in Europe. Funny that Northampton reached the final last year and lost it only because of a remarkable second-half performance by Leinster.
