There'll be an investigation and no charges, as usual.

Now, I don't know if that generally means that you can never get evidence in these cases or that there's a lot of girls who try and make an incident out of something they were happy to be involved in at the time when it comes to footballers.

I'm not so sure.

"This was reported at the time ( July last year ) and the suspects were identified on Friday last week, January 13, leading to these arrests.

It could be a case of mistaken identity, but it has taken the police long enough to identify them. If it was a case of some wannabe female luring 6 footballers into a "kiss & tell" situation, they would have been named & shamed, quicker than Max Clifford saying, "Sign Here", allegedly.

Fair enough, I thought it would be the usual nonsense you read in the tabloids...maybe there is an actual story to this one.
