LOL. There is no doubting that it was a fantastic shot visually but there is no way that he can have meant that to happen. Was there ever an interview with Singh asking him what happened? What golfer would deliberately skip the ball over the water? What sort of control do you have over the ball?

Still a nice looking shot.

This is one of my all-time favourites : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE5nxzSljCg

It's the 16th at Augusta on practice day.Once each player has hit a couple of normal drives, they try and skip the ball over the lake onto the green.Whether they're trying to hole it is debatable, but they deffo mean to skip it on the lake.As for control, the top pro's can absolute control over the ball.

A wee aside, Vijay used to be a bouncer at century 2000 on Lothian road!

My personal favourite shot-Jack Nicklaus on the same hole at Augusta on Sunday. As soon as he hit it his son (and caddie) started shouting 'Be the right club, be the right club'.Jack just bends down to get his tee and replies (the ball is still in the air)'It is.'
The 16th on Sunday has a brutal pin position, notorious for being difficult. He stiffs it and wins his final major.
