ASIAN TOUR QUALIFYING: Rookie professional James Byrne is lying just outside the top 10 after an encouraging opening round in the final stage. The Walker Cup player shot a four-under-par 68 at Imperial Lakeview to sit in a share of 11th – five shots behind the leader, Yosuke Tsukada from Japan.
