Good. I don't want him back here but I'd rather he didn't play against us:agree:

he should have went down south the 1st time he left Hibs. Hope he does well in England if that's where he ends up and gets his career back on track.

I wonder if Louis Almond is coming the other way.

I was talking to his cousin the other day and SPL experience might do him good.

Good Luck Deek, stay oot the Stanley Club, people will only lead you astray in there.

Please let this happen:pray: Next best thing to him playing in the Green & White for me. Can't really see where he would fit into the Blackpool team though ?

IMO this is the move Deek should have made years ago. I hope it's not to late and makes a success of it if true.

The only good thing about his move to Celtc was that he hardly ever played so there were no hurting comments to read in the Sunday papers. Still take no pleasure in the fact that his career stalled though. Hope he does himself justice.

Shame things didn't work out at Killie

I don't think he had any intentions of signing for Killie.
Just wanted/needed to keep a grasp on fitness for the next real possible move/trial.

Seems DR played in a scratch game yesterday against Bolton. Being discussed on Blackpool fans site, sorry due to feeble IT skills can't do link:greengrin but can be found on fansonline/Blackpool

Edit: forgot to say most seem quite keen

I met Holloway 2/3 years ago and when I asked him about his interest in Deek's he said it was bad enough having one lazy bar steward at the club [Charlie Adam] let alone have 2, now that Charlie has gone I guess he is happy having one again :greengrin

Modern footballers eh?

Derek Riordan should have been a player that spent his career at Hibs and could happily have been scoring goals each week over that time.

You just want Almond to sign so you can get some freebies, don't you? :greengrin

Coming what other way?

Some folk are struggling to come to terms with the fact that Riordan isn't contracted to Hibs any longer. Go easy on them.

With the quality that deek has he should
Have made a move like this years ago.
He would be just as good as fletcher if not
Better. Hope it's not to late and he can still
Show hes a class act .

He has one shoe bigger than the other, the other day when he was stood outside the shop I believe somebody tried to slot 10p into his heed :)

Nothing much more in the local rag down here about DR other than Blackpool are still interested, they are also trying to sign John Fleck on loan to end of season with possibility of a perminant move

Good move for both parties. They need more goals. He needs to be somewhere that he's a nobody and he can get his head down and play football. My only hope is he comes good over the next couple of years and gets a few goals for Scotland. Him ang Garry O up front....
