The french part was in reference to the fact the Old Firm turn a blind eye to the bigotry until its there own players getting abused.

Moral high ground on a daily basis, 'they're the bigots/racists and we're no' threads with screen shots of twitter and FB of either half of an old firm fan.
Then Phil Mac Goblain will tweet or blog that Scotland is an anti Irish (anti anything!) cess pit.

Just because the Rangers fans are, generally, bigots doesn't mean that two black Rangers players being racially abused is any less serious.

I think I read the Bartley one, some Celtic fan called him ''Monkey boy'' iirc, totally uncalled for no matter who he plays for.

Most Rangers fans would object to the Bhoy part of that more than anything else.

Surely they could only have been affected if they actually read this guy's tweets?

Did the moron write racist comments? Apparently, yes.

Were they 'racially abused?' .....

As far as I know, the tweets were sent directly to the players involved. Not much different to sending an email/writing a letter etc.

Fair enough. If that's the case then it's much worse than I first thought.

It doesn't make any difference IMO.

Racism is Racism whether its sent directly to somebody or not.
