Only about a week before the value of the shares plummets he sells up.....dodgy?

He's only sold 5% of his shares. It's questionable but I don't think it's a particularly big deal.

Even so I find it impossible that their COO would not be in possession of price sensitive information at the time he sold. If the Chief Operating Officer didnt know about their trading performance then he should be out of a job!

Crazy that 5% of his total share holding is a massive £200,000. Long term, the share value will rise again if, as Philip Clarke has promised, Tesco invest heavily in core UK market to catch up on ground lost to competitors.

Thats what I thought too, he had to have known. To me it looks like he's only sold 5% cos he's believed thats a small enough amount to get away with it. It's still a difference of £40k though!
