Seeing as FH has been remiss and not started tonight's thread. Jordan Rhodes has scored for Huddersfield at Wycombe. How I wish we could get him.

I wasn't going to watch this to be honest, but put it on in the background whilst doing a few things with the Mrs and it's a superb game, albeit, a little one sided.

Wycombe 0-3 Huddersfield - it could be 6 or 7 already, Jordan Rhodes passing up 2 chances for a hattrick, with 2 goals already.

Sorry, I only work on the big games.

But since you've started one;

Come on Oldham!

Can't believe Zander Diamond's playing at Anfield!

Huddersfield have a player called Jack Hunt. Anything after that is a bonus.

Huddersfield 3-0 up with Rhodes bang on form with 2.

Huddersfield have had 20 or so shots in open 35 mins :wtf:

As there's already a thread covering all games tonight, admins can feel free to delete or merge this one!

Cheers.

Not against run of play either. From BBC before the goal-Pat Nevin at Anfield on BBC Radio 5 live: "Liverpool's defence is being breached far too easily at the moment. It could be 3-0 to Oldham already."

He looks a cracking young player - nice that he's chosen to play for Scotland as well - really hope he doesn't end up at the Tims!

It's true. Liverpool have hardly had a shot on goal. Kuqi should have either scored himself or squared the ball for Simpson to have a tap in.

Most of the game has been played in the Liverpool half.

If I was a betting man, I'd be jumping all over Rhodes to score next at 9/2!

Not a chance now with the clubs that have started looking at him. I see that Joe Jordan is watching the game tonight so at least Spurs are sniffing about.

Rhodes has said he wont be leaving in Jan and will only leave if they don't go up this season.

Penalty to Liverpool

Scored. Gerrard in the postage stamp. Quality penalty.

Not sure about the decision to award it though.

Rhodes' record is really quite phenomenal at that level.

It would be interesting to see how he would cope at a higher level.

I don't think it will be too long before everyone finds out.

I'm just glad he's going to be playing for Scotland :aok:

5 goals in one game - surely a club is going to buy him in January now.

Weird moment in the liverpool game when one of the Oldham players seemed to have an argument with someone in the crowd. Game was stopped for a few minutes and the oldham player looked like he was almost in tears. Interesting to find out what that was all about.

2140: Oldham midfielder Tom Adeyemi takes a throw-in and then turns to confront a spectator in the front few rows at Anfield. He is seriously unhappy here with something that was said to him and looks close to tears. The game is stopped for a few minutes and Steven Gerrard has a word with Adeyemi. Play is back under way now but we may hear more about that one.

The spectator wasn't Luis Suarez by any chance!?

A Liverpool fan Racially abused a 20 year old Oldham player who was reduced to tears, apparently

Suarez gives his reaction to the news:
