An interesting team - see no reason to drop Stevenson (who is playing "well") - wouldn't have Wotherspoon in the team myself - think dropping the young lad Stanton into the frenzy of a derby with our current team might do him more harm than us any good...
is O'Connor "suspended"? If not, I'd swap him for Griffiths ... I'd play Sodje too, just to see what he can get up to - I'd leave Sproule out and play Galbraith ... although when I think about it, your team has probably as much chance of winning as any other one we can put out...

Listening to Doyle at haf time on Alba. He is a penalty box striker. I would stick him in instead of O' Connor. I don't hunk he is what PF will be looking for in that sort of formation.

I really do hope Osbourne is fit as I think he does make a massive difference to how our midfield will perform. I dont think playing two midfielders in front of the back four is helping us, especially when you consider that most of the goals we are conceeding are coming through the middle. I think are sitting off teams and playing two deep midfielders puts us on the back foot and allows other teams to come at us. We need to be forcing ourselves on games more, make other teams defend rather than allowing then to have 10 outfield attacking options.

With Barr having little experience / game time I am hopefully some pace from Ivan and Booth will give him all sorts of bother, we then need the boys in the middle to get themselves into the box facing goal, rather than this nonsence of punting the ball to OConnor to play with his back to goal and hold up the ball, something he simply cant do.

change to the back 4 as i believe that murray brings more competitiveness and bottle into matches that o'hanlon will. hanlon in the middle of that park to bring some defensive strength in there, this could make us less easy to play through and he will close people down more that stevenson or towell. Spoony in center mid as i believe he is our best passer of the ball.

It will be the same old story guarenteed 100%. Midfield non-exsistant with hearts totally running the game. Their wingers, in particular templeton, ripping our pathetic fullbacks to bits and hearts strolling the game. Trying to be positive but they are going to hump us :greengrin. May 09 was a poor hibs team that shocked hearts, but this team doesn't have a riordan.

GOC is our top scorer - we struggle to score goals - but he has been playing very average recently - probably due to a broken toe / other things going on in his life.

I really am not sure our best team right now - so many players been messed about in different positions -

Towel - not a central midfielder

LG - not a wide player

I do expect fit players - players with bottle and who will give everything and are hungry to succeed - fed up with so many players under performing and 2nd best in every position.

Over to you Fenlon...so many different opinions on here but the obvious thing is we lack form and talent in all areas of the team.

With the wingers they have, who are currently on fire, we need players at full back who can cope with them, also need our wide midfield platers to "double up" whenever required. They definately have a stronger midfield than us and to get anything other than a humiliating defeat from this game we will have to match them there. Don't think we are up to it somehow. I would have thought a couple of wide attacking players would be Hibs best chance of breaching Hearts defence. We currently have a centre mid/centre half ( McGowan)at left back and a centre half ( Barr) playing his second game of the season at right back. Barr in particular has had a woeful career and an on form Sproule or Galbraith would surely cause problems.

Neither are natural full backs and vulnerable at being attacked at pace with the ball/ Our 2 centre halves are strong (but prone to odd unaccountable lapses in concentration) but are well protected by good defensive midfielder who is a real asset as long as he stays in his own half and isn’t asked to pass the ball more than 5 yards.

Not too worried re Griffiths as I think he will get too caught up in the game and it will pass him by. Please note this could come back to haunt me and feel free to point out on Tuesday if he scores!!!!

Robinson if fit could be our match winner a terrific talent too long overlooked by previous managers and now playing in his best position. Taouil and Templeton allow Black to play inside where when he concentrates on his game is more than useful. However he like Riordan and Murray before him may lose focus on game by getting involved in stupid vendettas.

We have a centre forward who works harder than any player in our team in Elliott, he gets into great positions but can’t hit a clean strike. It is no surprise his only 2 goals this season have been from less than a yard out.

Keeper, well I wonder if Kello will still be with us and if he is I would expect as always he will play well. If not I will be concerned.

Man for man I think we have a better team but you have the best finisher in either squad in O’Connor who can create all sorts of problems if he stays on his feet. Of course you have the unknown quantity of your new centre forward but I would be very surprised if he was to start on Monday.

In short I have a lot respect for Booth and I always thought Palsson would be a good player but he seems to have lost his way. O’Connor is dangerous and Stack a good shot stopper and if Osbourne is out this will be a great plus for Hearts as I think he has been your only player who looks comfortable on the ball.It will come down to desire and discipline and the team that makes least mistakes will win and I for one cannot wait.

Controversial, no proof of doyles ability. Sodje hardly starts. Booth at left mid. Murray at rb. I just don't want sproule, Galbraith, towell, stack and to a lesser extent griffiths and Garry near my team. Garry's goals have been a god send for hibs, but he has been sheite for weeks now, Leigh has very rarely been good.

As I have said before I think we should be picking players in their best positions and not to fit a system. Therefore forget full backs put 3 central defenders in pack th mid field and play 2 strikers. According to the manager Ozzy wont be fit and G OConnor is still suffering from his toe injury and according to me and many others Ivan is just rubbish so this is the team I would like to see.

wouldn't be too bothered if Sodje started, as I think he's been unfairly overlooked for much of this season after some good form last season and during pre-season. i also think he's the type of player who has the physical presence to get in about the Hearts defence and cause trouble, as he did when he won the penalty at ER last season. i would rather he played alongside Griffiths, as he and GOC may be too similar in terms of style of play.
