Didn't he come out with something similar in the summer when he missed out on Griffiths? What a slaver he is.

However, the striker will not be available to play against Dundee United at Tannadice tomorrow because he does not officially become a Hibs player until January 1.
But he will be free to face the Jambos in the capital New Year derby 24 hours later.

No mistake that I can see. He becomes a Hibs player on 1st January and is eligible to play against Hearts on 2nd January.

Hopefully as part of the deal a trip across to the west coast of Ireland for a friendly and a day on the booze in Sligo.
I think that could well be the outcome of the negotiations where Sligo are seeking a 'training and development fee' and Hibs advise them that they are not due one.

We may decide to keep them sweet by arrranging a friendly over there to go with the other friendly already planned with the Bohemians.

Summer tour of Eire next year?! :cb

It said on SSN that it was an initial 18 month deal so sounds like there is something built in to extend which sounds fine to me.

Go on the 'Green Messi'. :greengrin

Got to love those who are moaning that it's an 18 month deal - same tosspots who moan that Jimmy Scott got 3 1/2 years
Has a a good couple of months and a new deal will be offered!!!

Welcome and good luck, cheeky brace against the Jambos will be good

I moaned about that one and rightly so in my opinion, whoever gave Scott a 3 1/2 year contract should be sacked.

He's been looking sharp in training and is apparantly a very good finisher. He's been impressing, very good to here :agree:

He has to wait until Jan 1 for clearance, so misses the Dundee Utd and Inverness games.
