View Full Version : Anyone watching Bayern?
Franck Ribery sent off! Booked twice in 32 seconds for, basically, being a dick!!

Aye, stupidest sending off I've ever seen.
I wonder what the guy said to him? My favourite German insult is 'arschgeige' (literally 'arse-violin') - surely it must have been something more substantial?

Had £2 left in my online account so put it on the away team to win. Is it looking like a good bet or wasted money?

Haha yeah just saw the score. Twas a long shot.Even v. 10 men Koln hadn't troubled Bayern, now Bayern have put a defensive midfielder on to tighten it up. Wouldn't be at all surprised if this finishes 1-0.

Not watching the game but Bayern are a top side. In Ribery and Robben they have two of the best wide players in the world , Schweinsteiger who is a top drawer midfielder (Thomas Mueller also) and one of the best fullbacks in the world in Phillip Lahm. Add in Manuel Neuer and I think they are a decent wee bet for the Champions League :agree:

Just had a wee look at the odds for CL and they are priced at 5-1 which I think is a wee bit short to be honest. Others that stood out were Milan who look huge at 25/1 and Napoli who are 40's.

See that defensive midfielder they brought on? Just made it 2-0. Shows what I know. :hilarious

I've managed to avoid chanting 'you Hearts b******' at the telly, but it was a close run thing.
