maybe not a bad thing getting deek back when you look at that chance if that fell to him i know where it would have ended up

Every player misses easy chances.

I did once. When I was 14.

I thought Sparky put in more effort and looked more threatening that deek did in his last 6 months at hibs. I dont think Riordan would of had the energy to get into the position sparky was in in. It's all pure conjecture, and I've seen Deek miss his fair few number of sitters, its the first I've seen form Leigh.

Riordan wouldn't have done half of the running back to cover Hart though so we might have lost a goal or two in the first half.

What concerns me about Griffiths is he seems to panic in the big moments. Thats the Celtic cup game and today which could have had very different outcomes if he had a bit more composure.

plenty effort but seems to panic and get the ball stuck in his feet sometimes.how could you forget his 1 v 1 against celtic:boo hoo:.fwiw garry o would have probably scored in that position but had a shocker otherwise.

simple - if it was a bloke you wouldnt have missed.

Can we give the Riordan, or indeed any ex player coming back chat a rest?

He was rank rotten before he left, and is by now another 6 months slower than he was. The club needs to move on.

Really ? Try remembering how Deek was playing when he left us. Honestly think about it. Remember his shot at goal at FF end, when he was about 12 yds out and slightly to left of the goal and his "Shot" went out for a throw-in. Yes Deek was a great player, [during 1st stint], a decent player, [during 2nd stint], when he could be bothered to turn up that is. So, having thought about it, do you still stick to your original comment ? IF he did come back, which Deek would we be getting ?

Plain fact is that we didn't take the chances and Rangers took their's. That is typical of most teams against the Old Firm. The point today, as it always seems to be, is that you can't gift goals and expect to win.
