Visited the Camp Nou when I was just a bairn. The Spanish security guy outside wasn't letting anybody in as the trophy room hadn't yet opened. But as soon as he spotted me my brother and my father (each wearing Hibs tops) the guy was ecstatic to see some Hibees in town and let us straight through.

Stadio San Paolo - Naples 2004. Sat on the curva A for a Serie C match Napoli v Benevento (local Campania derby).

Absolute best atmosphere Ive ever experienced at football. When Benevento got a penalty in front of the curva the noise the Neapolitans created whistling before he took it was unreal (penalty missed) the ultras know how to get behind their team. I can't recommend going to Napoli enough. Superb experience.

No, the football one.

Rugby league ground is Stade des Minimes and the rugby union one is Stade Ernest Wallon. Also been to the one in Blagnac that is apparently basically an amateur rugby union team but it's better than some SPL grounds!

Quite a few with Hibs/Scotland, the name that stands out is The Wankdorf Stadium in Bern!

It's the home ground of Young Boys of Bern (fnaar fnaar). I was there for a 2-2 Scotland draw in 1992. The old concrete terracing was bouncing in time with Scottish celebration as we drew level, but it was totally rebuilt for the 2008 Euro finals. Bern is a beautiful city.

Ajax (old ground)

I saw Dennis Bergkamp score 2 there in a 7-0 win over Twente. I've also seen Ajax beat Porto in the Champions' League at the Amsterdam Arena. On an Ajax related theme I was at a Sparta Rotterdam v Barcelona friendly in 1973 which I think might have been Johann Cruyff's Barcelona debut. Of all the grounds I've visited while on holiday that's the one I'm most proud of:greengrin

AEP Pafos FC in Cyprus. The Pafiako Stadium holds 10,000 though I doubt they've ever had such a crowd. It's near Debenhams.

I walked right into the ground and onto the pitch which was baked hard like concrete. A bloke there told me they play rugby too which is barely believable on that surface.

I once got "man lost" whilst driving the family on holiday in France. Pre sat nav and obviously refusing to admit as much. I drove around (as you do) and somehow eventually as the road became increasing unlikely to lead anywhere, went through a narrow tunnel emerging on the other side to what appeared like heavy rain. I quickly put the wipers on, and blinking in disbelief, found myself pitchside inside the stadium of F C Nantes which was being sprinkled. I had to drive on the pitch to make a speedy exit.
