Popped into my local branches of Ladbrokes and Wm Hills to fire a few bob on our illustrious insolvent neighbours to finish bottom of SPL. The former had nothing on their system re Hearts while the latter phoned 'head office' who advised that the bet was currently unavailable.

Do they know something even more damaging or are they just being sensible?

Am not into online betting but the only odds I can find on this are offered by Bet365 (50/1)

Does anyone know of any other bookmaker taking this bet presently? Ta.

I got 66/1 at scotbet a few weeks back but I think a lot of bookies have stopped taking bets on them now.

I stuck a fair few shekels on them at 66/1.

You'll struggle to get a bet on them now though.......

Was it a double with Paulo Sergio at 5's to be first manager punted?

Is this based on the anticipated firesale? Points deduction?

I can't see them going down but would love to be proved wrong!

They may be 5th, but they're only 9 points clear of Aberdeen and could play half the season with their youth team. I wasn't passing up 66/1 :greengrin

Bugger, that would have done me a braw summer holiday. (And I don't speak in jest)

The clear-oot has started and they're in administration/insolvency in all but name.

Told Mrs Aldo that Should the Yams go into Administration over the festive period then I would like a nice bottle of bubbly to celebrate this instead of a birthday present (BD is at start of Jan).

I will get so drunk... O so drunk.

Please let it be. ;)

You should get a decent 'Keep Romanov in' flag for that.

Serious question which I am having trouble answering...would you rather Hearts went into administration or Hibs won the Scottish Cup? :hmmm:

No question. Hibs winning the cup, whilst enjoying them going into administration they would survive

Scottish cup hands down.

Every time. :agree:

While they are hilarious, the Yams have no real significance to me, the Hibs on the other hand, are everything.

I would have no trouble answering that question in the slightest, can't believe why any Hibs fans would, to be honest

I would love Hibs to win the Scottish Cup, in the grand scheme of things, I'm really not bothered if they go into administration.

Hearts going into Administration is actually realistic! :greengrin

Thats why i'll always dream of us winning the SC.

I can't even see where you can bet on SPL relegation on Bet365

I put £10 on them to go down at 300/1 a few weeks back with bet 365. Impossible to imagine how happy I would be if that comes in.

That's fantastic odds :agree:

I managed to get 80's about 3 weeks ago with Blue Sq and, whilst I don't expect it to come in, it's not beyond the realms of possibility given the upcoming difficulties they're going to have.

That would be double sweet - Jambo's sinking to Division 1 and a tidy wee sum for the pleasure :cb

That's if they don't go out of business entirely first though :greengrin

You can still get Paulo Segio as next SPL boss to get the chop at 5/1 on Paddy Power
