On the positive side, it'll be the first time yin of their players has chased a lassie of 14 without the polis visiting.

Bump, I hadnt seen this thread. It just goes to show that the reason for the gulf between the OF and the rest is all attributable to finances (not that anybody didnt know that, but the figures bear it out).

So, the Soapies have the highest wage bill at 36.4 million, followed by:
2. Huns - 28.1

Huge gap

3. ****bos - 9.1
4. Hibs - 4.7
5. Aberdeen - 4.6
6. Kilmarnock - 4
7. D United - 3.9
8. Motherwell 3.3
9. St Mirren - 2.9
10. St Johnstone - 2.8
10. Falkirk - 2.8
12. Hamilton - 1.5

The gap between the 3rd and 2nd is 19 million, the gap between 3rd and 12th is almost a third of that at 7.6 million.
If the OF would **** off to their Atlantic Super League or whatever it is they want (if only!) there could be a competitive 10 team league with a wage cap of 5 million and everybody would be competitive with a chance to win the league.

I'd love to see them bugger off.... but surely you're joking about the 10 team league idea?

It's dill enough playing each team at least 3 times a season, never mind making it 4!
