Thought id kick off with Newcastle - Chelsea,

Controversial start, Demba Ba through 1 on 1 with Petr Cech, pulled to the ground by David Luiz, clear goal scoring opportunity, bit confused how he only got a booking.

Luiz is honking, to think I heard some clown on sky comparing him to Franco Baresi a few months ago, should have been off no doubt.

Yeah, I thought there was a rule about keepers staying on there line before the penalty is taken but they always seem to get away with it, is the linesman not meant to be watching for this?

What a game Tim Krul is having in goals, at least 3 good chances Chelsea have had and he's rescued them, United are playing such a high line. Or maybe Sturridge is just a speed demon

Think because of last nights abandonment wel b bottom at end of today and possibly nxt week, not doom and gloom just think thats our luck at moment but game in hand and couple of games afterwards against aberdeen and inverness chance to pull back up there, hopefully we dont start panicking

Aberdeen 1 nil down at Rugby Park and now, as things stands, bottom of the table. How long has Paw Broon got left??? After living in the Granite city for 3 years, in a Kevin Keeganesque style, I would LOVE IT if they went down:greengrin

Don't panic. Dunfermline and Aberdeen both losing to Rangers and Kilmarnock. We really need teams like Hearts (down 1-0) and St Mirren (down 1-0) to start losing points to enable us to quickly get in that top six.

Given the fire sale in January that'll take place at the PBS, and their current 22 points tally, will be interesting to see if the Jambos sink like a stone after New Year.

We can but hope that Paw Broon will muster 30 points, allowing the Yams only 8 more draws and a nail-biting goal-difference cliff-hanger to keep the Hat Kickers on the edge of their pink seats

We'll only be bottom tonight if Dunfermline and Aberdeen get a point and Inverness win.

Currently only Inverness are winning so we're sitting 10th just now, one point above Aberdeen.

There's a fairly good chance that we'll be bottom after next week though, with us playing Rangers and Dunfermline and Aberdeen both at home.

With Hibs looking like a football team for half a game last night and Hearts giving us a wee chuckle today I have a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

I can almost remember feeling like this about football before in the distant past.

Internet says that Dave Mackay took the penalty. Seems more likely than Maybury, given that he scored a free kick against Hibs.

Great Results for St.J and Inverness but I don't think either will give us much benefit. Whilst we were a big improvement last night I fear the fixtures next week could well leave us bottom of the league.

I hope not but it could be a confidence drainer if we are. :paranoid:
