Seems strange starting this on a Friday afternoon.

Anyway, most excited I've been in a long time, will be listening in from London. Here's looking for a strong defensive performance and maybe the odd goal for the Cabbage.

I'm pretty certain that Fenlon wont want to loose his first game in charge, so Hibs could play it tight, but whether out defence will be up to it is another matter.

Here's hoping that tonight is the start of a new era for Hibs.

:agree: What do new managers see in Stephenson? The lad played one good game for us back in 2007 and has made a career from it :roll eyes: And don't get me started about Hart. I suppose every new manager has to find out how good/bad a player is and PF is no different.

He must be OK in training but that reminds me of a recent newspaper article by Stevenson, where he says he can't understand how Hibs are doing so badly in matches because 'they are great in training'. Surely he can differentiate between a kick around with your mates and a game against another team which is as good as or, more likely, better and, importantly, much more hungry for results.

To be fair to Stevenson, Wotherspoon has been saying the same in the press today.

Yeah Hibs TV is extremely average to be honest - it doesn't seem to have improved any in about 5 years. But, it's not even on there tonight and that would've done!

No it's got no TV coverage at all.........which probably makes sense, seen as they want Friday games to improve crowds.......
Hibs winning / playing better, will improve our crowds! ...BBC radio is now only within UK when online only, don't know why.....never used to be so strict like this.

Agree, Hibs TV would have done, but they only do away games when it's a Sky or ESPN game. Wish the home game stream would be better though, and I'd watch every week, but it's so poor I haven't bothered with it too much... although being gash might be part of that reason I suppose.

What the heck is going on ? Commentators saying we're playing 4-4-2, and a flexible 4-4-2 that can quickly change to 4-3-3 depending on how Well are setting up.

Sounds like we actually have a tactical plan based on how the match is panning out, and allowing the players some flexibility to mix it up - that looks like management to me :agree: although it's been a while since we had any at ER.

The big question is PF wearing a tracksuit or is he wearing a suit ? :greengrin

Seems like we do have a game plan - lets hope it continues..the least you would expect.

Regarding T.V - Having lived abroad I found it frustrating I couldn't get a decent link to the games but even a radio broadcast would have helped - seems this has been stopped - licensing laws?

Friday night games - not the worst idea - especially with cheaper prices - but is this the SPL realising crowds are poor ? Surely more can be done to raise crowds again and avoid T.V deciding when many games are played? For those close who didn't go - including myself due to work commitments - can't complain it's not on t.v - far too many games on t.v which kills the crowds / atmosphere / experience of the Scottish Game.
