New Hibs boss Pat Fenlon is to take the Easter Road outfit to Dublin to face his old club Bohemians, it was revealed today.
The cash-strapped Irish side agreed to release the 42-year-old from his contract despite it having a year to run to allow him to realise his dream of managing in the SPL. But as part of the deal Hibs agreed to a friendly at Dalymount Park, a venue they last visited when Tony Mowbray was boss and the opposition the then homeless Shamrock Rovers.
A date for the game has yet to be arranged but it underlines the close links which have developed between the clubs with Bohemians visiting Edinburgh in March when Hibs faced a month without an SPL fixture.
