Had a brilliant time tonight at the race night/auction in memory of our old pal "flash" who passed away recently.

Some of his friends got together and arrange this night in his memory with the purpose of raising enough money to buy a fitting tribute to his memory.

I must thank everyone who came along and made this a very special night and helped raise an incredible £1600 on the night!

Thanks too goes to Grant Stott who accepted our invitation to take charge of the auction and made a brilliant job of it. Thanks Grant for
giving up your time after a hard day of rehearsal for this years Pantomime. Your a star!!!

A memorial bench will be bought and situated down at the Hibs East Mains training ground, the remaining monies will be donated to the
Marie Curie Hospice in memory of another friend Ronnie Young who we lost recently too.

Yet another instance of how the Hibernian family come together and look after their own.

Well done to the boys who organised things for tonight, you all did a brilliant job, Flash would have been proud of you all!

Was a great night, and very humbling that at this time of Year, and with the current Economic climate, that the "Family" delved deep to raise such a wonderful amount......The Bench will be paid for with over £800 going to Marie Curie.....

Wonderful to see so many faces, and to give Flash a real send off.......:flag:
