Feeling strangely positive for a change and after a quick goal see us winning 3-1...

I dunno, it's impossible to predict, but I think Nutsy will get a performance out of the players. 2-1 Hibs, O'Connor (28 mins - after a penalty miss in the 12th) and Griffiths (72). Morris will pull one back for Saintees in the 86th minute from the spot, with Witherspoon, who committed the foul, being sent off for the first time against his boyhood heroes. So it will be a nail-biting finish when we should have been in easy street. Nutsy will say as much in the post-match press conference, but more specifically: 'I barely had time t get to know the lads, but I told them what I expected in terms of their application. I have to say I thought they did magnificently. They've now set a standard and I don't expect them to drop below that."

On the two penalties and the sending off, Nutsy will say, "To be honest, I didn't really see either incident, but the referee's make their decisions on the spur of the moment and we have to accept it."

Possession: Hibs 48 Saints 52

shots on goal: Hibs 6 (4 on target) Saints 6 (3 on target)

corners : Hibs 5 Saints 5

attendance: 4,689

Just a pity he isn't taking the team tomorrow!

Just a pity he isn't taking the team tomorrow!

Now you've gone and spoiled it. I change my predication: 4-0 to St Johnstone, Billy Brown to provide a baffling team selection as a massive **** you to Hibs.

Watched some of the game at Ipox last week and the Saints looked a lot better and faster than any of our lot that i have seen this year, we tend too look so unfit.

I think Fenlon will get results in due course but he's not a miracle worker. The players should and might raise their game but St Johnstone are presently a superior outfit to Hibs and will be looking for a comfortable home win. 2-0 St Johnstone.

I'll go for a Hibs team trying to impress to secure a decent 1-1 draw

Garry O has been "sick" this week but is expected to be fit for tomorrow

And Morris is a big doubt for the Saints which can only help our cause.
