Well done Pat Fenlon, I look forward to seeing you kick ass with the lazy/non triers of the Hibs Squad and may you show more patience with the current sqaud than the current Easter Road support shows you. I look forward to supporting you as i have with the 2 previoous managers.

p.s. Keep BB on the books, 27 years in football , surely thats the most of anything/anyone at Hibernian just now.

I second that welcome (assuming it's true)

Re BB - I don't doubt his worth as a coach but Fenlon should be allowed to choose his own assistant if he so chooses IMO.

Have to agree with this. BB has impressed as a coach and I hope he stays.

Agree with the comments re BB however, if and only if previous rumours of managers not being allowed to pick there own coaching staff are found to be true, then Mr Fenlon should have the power to install his own team, end of.

Due to be announced tomorrow, it seems. Bohs have all but confirmed it which I'm sure will go down excellently with Petrie et al.

Bohs have a duty to their fans too. If they've given permission for another club to talk to their manager, I think they are right to say so - regardless whether we want it kept quiet.

I hope he isnt kept on. The last thing a new manager needs is a guy at the club who thinks he should be in his place.

1724 FOOTBALL: Hibernian are expected to unveil Pat Fenlon as their new manager on Friday. The 42-year-old was given permission by Dublin-based Bohemians to talk to Hibs on Wednesday about the manager's job and is set to succeed Colin Calderwood as boss.

I was just reading the Bohs fans forum , Sean Dillon rates him very highly and it seemed he did well even thought the club was a basket case (team not getting paid etc) also another poster warned folk not to mess with him small as he is he has a nasty streak in him , maybe just what we need ?, tried to post a link but their site has gone down but worth a look if you get a chance.

Hopefully not the same kind of nasty streak that Yogi had when he was here.

We need a tough minded individual, but we don't want a bully.

Welcome!

Got a good feeling about this - posted it yesterday - Irish friend says he is decent and not to be messed with while also doing well with very little.

Should be a good character and give us some leadership we have been missing :agree:

I do not say this lightly as the late, great one is a hero of mine, but the man in terms of achievements and fitba philosophy reminds me of Brian Clough.
