Hi All,

If you are at a bit of a lose end on Friday night why dont you pop along to the Hibs Supporters Club at Sunnyside.

WHY? Our friend and fellow Hibby Gordon"Flash" Smith passed away last month leaving behind a great collection of Hibs photographs and memorabilia on his "wall of fame" in his home.

Flash was a well kent face around Easter Road way and attended all the pre season tours, taking many photos of us Hibbys on tour. in France, Germany and of course Trinidad and Tobago. A group of his friends have arranged this night to let fellow supporters see his collection of framed prints of themselves and or someone they may know.

His friends would like to raise enough money to purchase a suitable memorial to him (Flash) that would be a testimant to the man and the supporter.

We are selling the framed photos and scarves all you have to do if you like something is to offer us a few pounds as a donation to the fund raising effort. There is also an auction of some beautiful pieces of memorabilia eg, Signed framed Hibs' jerseys and older team photographs of the Famous Five and Turnbull's Tornadoes. A wonderful collection over many years. We are hoping to have a few ex players there and Grant Stott may do the auction on the night. (subject to confirmation)

Afterwards a great disco will play good tunes if you fancy a wee dance.

If you fancy a good night out then please feel free to come along. First race starts 7.30pm (prompt).

Your sure to have a guid night oot and a chance to buy some memories of good times captured by this wonderful man.
