Remember someone posting a few days ago that Steve Clarke had resigned at Liverpool, well he's on the sidelines today at Chelsea :confused::confused:

It was a case of misinformation and crossed wires at the time

Rod Petrie and Kenny Dalglish have agreed that Steve should stay there for another week or so which by that time he will know which players to bring up to Edinburgh with him. Thankfully Fernando Torres is no longer there so he won't be coming.

Simples.

Slightly on topic. Can anyone tell me why AVB gets down on his hunkers for a near worms eye view of what's going on? Very strange behaviour.

Their season could be over before Christmas. If he fails to win any trophies this season it's going to take one hell of a decision to punt him when it's already cost them £13 million to buy out his contract from Porto. Add another £10 million (guess) if they sack him. Add all this to the £50 million that they paid to Liverpool for El Nino and you would have to say that Chelsea are the Scottish Hearts when it comes to leaking £'s.

Apart from they have an owner that pays money into the club :agree:

El Nino will have to go down as the biggest flop in world football history ever. I think he will be sold to the likes of Valencia, rattle them in and move to Germany or somewhere. His confidence is completely gone.

As shown in 1998 KD doesn't let his assistants leave to come to ER.

Maybe so but he's probably envious of the size of the Yam support.
