Part of my reply to a Jambo friend who has been out of touch for a while. He wrote bemoaning the fact that they and us ('we') are in a mess.
"We are in a mess? What do you mean we, Paleface? I take absolutely no pleasure from Hearts' problems but they are bigger than Greece's. My frustration is with Petrie. We should have built a statue for him 3 years ago and got him out to pasture. Brilliant infrastructure fit for what could be Edinburgh Hibs, the main team in the City, winning nothing of course and being humped in our local derbies by Dunfermline or Falkirk. Very frustrating on the park for years now. I have seen them only 3 times this season and the 4th will be a Friday Night at Motherwell. Friday night!"
