Davy Weir saying he might be ready to leave Castle Greyskull come January. How about Billy Brown as Manager until the end of the season with Davy Weir being his player/assistant manager?

I'd be really worried and underwhelmed if our new manager isn't experienced in being a manager, if our assistant was an experiment as well that would be too much to handle. Wouldn't fancy that one bit.

I think David Weir has a chance of becoming a decent manager. He is articulate and has amassed vast experience already albeit not as a manager.

Certainly an interesting thought.

A manager who has never been a manager? And a number 2 who has never been a number 2 (well no in that sense)? Sorry not for me.

Don't get this at all. What do we know about DW's managerial abilities? Potentially another Sauzee scenario. For that reason we will only ever have to guess - thankfully.

David Weir gets away with murder when playing for them, it would be difficult to make us any slower at the back, but having him in the side would accomplish this.

Hibs agreed a fee with Falkirk to sign David Weir back in 95 or so, but he refused to come and signed for them.

I've a long memory, thanks but no thanks.
