When I got my first flat, after my first divorce, I was so skint I - - -

Used to nick toilet paper (rolls and packs not individual sheets :-P) from the office and pubs so I didn't have to buy any.

Nicked salt and pepper thingies from my local, Yesterdays in Fountainbridge, not only that when they were empty I used to take them back and swap them with a full one. This was a great plan until I was caught bringing one back one time. Everyone got such a laugh I was given official permission to carry on doing it.

So, thinking back what makes you think - Oh my god! I did do that :-!

I used to steal bog roll as well when i was a student. Uni toilets, pubs, clubs, public toilets, work..... Nowhere was off limits.

I also went through a phase of using anything remotely soapy to was my clothes. Washing up liquid, shower gel, a chunk of a bar of soap and shampoo all passed through the washing machine at some point. No idea why as half these things cost as much as cheap washing powder.
