Cracking tune from my era.

Goes to show kids you can make a pop video on the cheap up the top of Arthurs seat flapping yer arms around.
But do too many drugs and you might end up a bit like this

No tune.

Music drowning out fans doesnt add to the atmosphere at a fitba game. The opposite imo.

Would rather hear the fans....

Funnily enough or not I do sympathise with you on that one. Maybe im getting soft in my old age or conditioned into it But they do seem to favour a tune that would be mine.

:agree:

The only thing that would get the fans pumped up is the expectation of watching a winning team playing decent football. This season its been the same awful music every week followed by silence after the whistle blows. They've tried Proclaimers songs, punk, chart stuff, everything in the last couple of seasons. Makes no difference.

Would love to hear a bit of Kool & The Gang. Saw them at Glastonbury and they were ****ing fantastic for getting a party started. However, the two bottles of wine may have made all the difference, and I really do remember **** all of their set.

:agree:100% agree.

Might just about be acceptable of the tracks chosen were appropriate or humorous or helped to raise the excitement in the stadium, but Hibs DJ is useless at gauging the mood of the crowd and we end up with stuff that makes you cringe - sometimes just embarrassing. If Hibs need to cut costs, get rid the the DJ would be a good start.

I loved that song in my misspent youth (although know it as 'Progen 91' rather than 'Move Any Mountain') but it's just wrong as a song for the football.

I like it when they play 'Wonder of You' by Elvis (who incidentally was nicknamed 'Steven' by his mates) at the Emirates!

Good choice. Almost timeless. It was played at the end of the Hibs-Airdrie relegation play off.

Don't agree - think the DJ does a pretty good job right now - have really enjoyed hearing the likes of this...

and this...

...in the run up to matches recently.

If as you suggest, the music should suit the mood of the crowd then how about this...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohRbJJohv6Y&ob=av2e

or even this in tribute to our esteemed manager....

....On a related subject - anyone think Glory Glory to the Hibees is in serious need of being re-recorded???
Mawkish cringeable sentimental tosh IMO - or are all football songs meant to be like that???

Maybe I'm getting old but I'm sick of the loud music at Easter Road before the game, I go there and see mates who I maybe haven't seen for a week or two and can hardly hear what they are saying to me, if I wanted loud music I'd go somewhere else!!

For the Hibees i would have this as it reminds me of the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic - with fans cheering 'Hibees Hibees Hibees' for about 20seconds to 50 seconds.....
