So how will the Scotland manager deal with this one, it was reported on the radio today that Barry Bannan was charged with drink driving after crashing his Range Rover into the central barrier of the M1 at the weekend, stupid boy could have killed someone doing that, but how will he be treated by Potter for the next Scotland call-up, will he call him up or not after publicly saying that GOC had to get his court case out of the way before he would be considered for Scotland duty again.

As far as I know the lad hasnt played for Hibs so he should be clear to represent his country, there will surely be some exception to Potter's rule that he can apply to the matter.:greengrin

There are different rules and precedents for players named Barry (which are easily but wrongly confused with those for players named Garry).

I don't see why he won't call him up.

After all, he called up David Goodwillie for the last Scotland squad, despite facing a trial for a serious assault.
