If you could only choose one ........

As you all no doubt know we now face two games against Celtic in the next 7 days. If you could only have one victory, which would you pick - The cup game on Wednesday or the League game next weekend ?
Personally, I dont think we will win any of them but in answer to my own question and had to pick, I think it would be the cup game as there are plenty of league games left to get us out of the mire we are currently in. Just wondered what your thoughts would be.

Definitely the cup, absolutely no question about that.

What happens at Parkhead next Saturday will not define our season. The outcome of Wednesday's tie at Easter Road could do just that.

The chance to be in the semi finals of the League Cup, without any of the Old Firm or Hearts left in the draw is just a fantastic opportunity for the club to win some silverware.

If we lose the league match, we'll have many more chances to pick up the required number of points to be relatively successful in the league season.

The games above will probably result in the other semi finalists being Dundee Utd, Killie & St Mirren, all teams that we are capable of beating (and I know capable of losing to as well :greengrin).

This Celtic team are no great shakes and have had a tough spell leading up to Wednesday, our best chance in beating them is at ER and if we can manage it we will have a great chance to lift a trophy, so it's a no brainer, a win (pretty please) on Wednesday will do for me.

I have always said that cup games are different from league ones when it comes to guess h the out come , but I'd take a flukey 1-0 and be happy with that

Defo the cup game, league is a foregone conclusion (as may the cup for some) but the dream is still alive...:greengrin
