having problems viewing threads?
Some won't load in full - similar to the recent problems when the new ads were introduced.

Yes, I am and it is extremely annoying as I have not been able to follow a thread on here for a few days now!
I'm more a reader than an active poster but find the current situation where I try and open a thread to read it and get the first post header (or last one if I have chosen to start at that end of the thread) simply gives me a blank first post (i.e. none of the first post text on display) and then an inability to scroll beyond that!
I'm not getting any error messages but I am baffled by my inability to read threads. I use IE8 and Windows XP if that helps anyone with a technical background offer assistance or help!
This is only the second thread that I have been able to access today! :agree:

I've done that now but it is hardly inspiring compared to the other system! Hopefully a proper solution will be found before too long!

Was having the same problem, so downloaded Mozilla Firefox and using that instead of Internet Explorer and it works fine.

Yes I am. If you change your general settings to hibs.net lite you can read the threads though.

I find it frequently freezes and then I can't get out of a thread.

Top right of the "lite" screen and hit "Desktop" which will take you back to the regular format! :agree:
Thanks Mikey for whatever you did, I seem to be able to get access to threads again now through the regular system! :not worth
