Another hat-trick for him, think thats him got around 13 goals in his last 5 games for Huddersfield and the Scottish U21s, very bright future!

Could be a long term successor to Kenny Miller in Potter's striking plans. In about a decade.

I was just about to create a thread on him. Fantastic player. 4 hat-tricks in 5 games now and i am sure HalifaxHibs will give us a report on his preformance! :na na:

Huddersfield are 39 games unbeaten!

yeezus.

One of my mates is a Huddersfield fan, think they are 2 or 3 games off breaking the record for most league games unbeaten in England. Rhodes is a brilliant player, think he has Scottish grandparents .. ?:not worth

They play great football and probably have the best support in League 1

I first saw them on SS in a 6-0 home win which should have been 10-0 at least. They played the best football you will ever see at that level, it was nearing Barcelona-esc :na na: Since then i have had a soft spot for them. :agree:

Lee Clark said on tv today that he thought the lad deserved a call up by Scotland.

Rhodes is a real class act and will get a move to the Premier League sooner rather than later, just as Anthony Pilkington did.

Great guy though, I always remember him applauding the Hibs fans whenever we played against him. And also recall him saying in an interview that he'd love to play for Hibs because of their fans. Think we had Goram then Leighton at the time though.

I'd never heard of him until a few weeks ago when he scored for Scotland under 21s but he's actually had a very impressive goalscoring record for the past couple of years.

He's scored 64 goals in 116 career starts, which is pretty amazing, although it remains to be seen how he would do in a higher level as he's only done it at League One level so far.

Should still be given a chance in the next Scotland squad though.

It's transparently obvious that Pilkington is a glass act.

I had free ticket for today. He is very good and was in the right place at right time.
The 1st was goal keeper clanger but the rest he took very well. Would do job at Hibs :-)

Quick mention to the Preston number 7 Hume I think he was called, very good little player, very good.

Huddersfield will go up in my opinion if they keep him.

Hume had a good game on Wednesday against Sheffield United and took his goal very well. Iain Turner in goal for PNE is absolutely dreadful though. Let in two howlers on Wednesday and had another shocker yesterday.

Once saw Hume score a 35 yarder for Tranmere against Bolton and always thought he has the ability to make more of his career.

He is English. So harry potter is better capping him asap. If he continues like this then he could turn up in the EPL from January and our chance could disappear

Aye but there's a few decent teams in League 1 - Sheffield United, Preston and Charlton. Reckon Hibs could win the league?

Two mates and I went to the Preston-Sheffield United game last week and I insisted pre-match that Hibs would be capable of challenging for the play-offs in League One - ten minutes in to the game and they asked me again and I've got to be honest but there's no way we could match either of them in terms of the quality of the football played.

I went to sheff Wednesday v huddersfield at weekend, Rhodes is a fantastic at taking his chances.

His 3rd and 4th goals were his only touches of the half. Super game though couldn't ask for better than a 4-4.

There was talk at UP on Sat of Big Sam sniffing about Rhodes with a view to a January bid, would imagine a few Prem clubs would fancy him too though.
