View Full Version : Talk About Bitter and Deluded....

In response to "What Exactly is the BBC Agenda", here are some select viewpoints as to what Rangers fans believe is institutional bias against them:

They are riddled with two sorts:

1. Bitter, sectarian *******s....the Pacific Quay CSC
2. Fellow travellers...assorted sheep, chattering class types, lefties etc who believe that a Che Guevara poster and refusing to wear a suit in your 40s mean you are 'naturally attracted to ra hoops and their 'socialism'

No doubt in the interests of impartiality, BBC Scotland will now investigate Neil Lennon's partnership with a known IRA collaborator in Ulster. Aye! Right!

I would say it's pretty simple:

Celtc and poor downtrodden Catholics - Good.

Rangers and big oppressive Proddies - Bad

Where do BBC Scotland go from here in their obvious bias against Rangers?

Getting players banned - done!
Get songs banned - done!
Get the club banned from Europe - tried!
Call our players and club names (******, hun, castle greyskull) - done!
Smear our manager - done!
Claim we are closing in a few weeks through having no money - done!
Say we are being run by a criminal - done!

The agenda is quite simply...The BBC is a Roman Catholic run corporation

No highlights, so reduced chances of having a Gers' player 'done' restrospectively

for an off-the-ball challenge or something the ref missed. After all it

seems to be only Gers' players that get done for this.

With people like that, ridding Scotland of sectarianism doesn't stand a chance. Nevermind that the Scottish media pandered to David Murray for almost his entire time as chairman and owner of RFC, never upsetting the applecart.

Those links are hilarious. Apparently BBC Scotland regularly describes Rangers as hun, c***, and Ibrox as 'Castle Greyskull'. I must have missed these chick young utterances over the years.

Pretty sure the lass (a Kilmarnock fan) was sacked for that too.

:agree: My Rangers supporting work colleague said it was one of the funniest things he had seen on the telly. The girls face when she realised what she said was seemingly worth the tv licence money alone.

It was a 'hover' caption on a photo of Kevin Thomson shortly after he signed for them from us, IIRC (i.e. if you put your mouse over the photo a caption appeared, in this case the 'c' word.)

It is of course a well known fact that His Holiness the Pope runs BBC Scotland in his spare time.

slight correction, Cardinal O'Brien runs the Scottish part, the Pope is the overall head Honcho of the BBC, although Rangers fans will just see O'Brien as a puppet of the pope guy on his anti Rangers crusade

Wow - I thought Hearts fans were bad - some more "gold" from the Bear (Cess) pit:

The reality is that a 25 point deduction for Rangers for the next 3 seasons would have a disasterous effect on the SPL and it may be something that the league never recovers from.

Attendances at ALL grounds would go down and as a result so would revenue. Do these clowns think that people will still tune in to watch the SPL on SKY or ESPN when it's 100% guaranteed that Celtic will be Champions for the next 3 years?

There also seems to be some who are rubbing their hands together at the thought of Rangers needing to re-enter the SFL in division 3 or something. Again this would be a total disaster for the SPL. No TV money PLUS all the money lost from their 2 home matches a season against us would now be going to the teams in the lower divisons which would make those leagues stronger.

God forbid the "wee clubs" would potentially get some revenue and get stronger over time. They're actually arrogant enough to think that they would automatically be granted readmission to the 3rd division and would provide 2 x glamour ties a year for the lower league SFL clubs.

Despite the fact that a ridiculous points deduction (or relegation or any other excessive sanctions) for Rangers would be a disatser for Scottish football in the short AND long term. There is not one football journalist who will come out and say "maybe it would be best if they take it easy on Rangers for the greater good of the sport in this country".

These other clubs, the sfa, the spl and the people in the media need to ask themselves though... do they WANT a league with NO cometitive edge whatsoever? Do they want lower attendances at games? Do they want young fans tuning into the English Premiership and buying Man City jerseys etc cos the SPL is boring? Do they want less people buying their papers, watching their TV shows, listening to their phone ins, reading their blogs or twitters because there is nothing interesting going on?

Do these people exist in a parallel universe, where Rangers are competing in a league which ISN'T a duopoly?! "SPL" and "competitive" aren't words I'd use together...

if they don't want these things then why not stand up and DEFEND Rangers? Are HMRC not trying to destroy scottish football as we know it with these potentially damaging tax demands? Shouldn't they be demanding that Rangers are only forced to pay 20 million over 10 years as anything more than that could ruin the game in our country?

The end of last season was incredible because it was so close. That tension generated interest, which generates money. It seems that these people want to get rid of that when they should be trying to encourage it.

More and more I am thinking that these people don't give a flying ***** about football. They "support" the badge, or the politics, of whatever team they prefer but they don't give a ***** about the sport or what is good for the game. They make money from the sport but they give nothing back. In fact, through their constant negativity, they make things worse. Vampires.

Never mind that Motherwell, Dundee, Airdrieonians, Clydebank, Livingston and Gretna ALL racked up debts they couldn't service and were punished accordingly. This is the mighty Glasgow Rangers FC, who should be above the law. Do these idiots not realise that when their club fail to pay it's bills, it tends to be small companies (catering, servicing, personnel, external contractors) who end up out of pocket. A contract with a big SPL club is likely to be a major contract for most small companies, and not receiving regular payment puts them into a position where they face their own financial black holes, which in turn, continues to **** the wider economic picture of Scotland. Should these companies and the wider economy just "take the hit" to ensure the longevity of RFC? **** that!

All from the club and supporters that would ditch Scotland in the blink of an eye if it had the chance

They seem to forget that they have only won 3 league titles in a row and made the end of the season "exciting" by illegally avoiding tax. If they had been playing on a level field they'd be fighting for a place in the Europa League instead of challenging for the title.

Like the ugly sisters, they are not fond of using the word Glasgow in their name as that would surely alienate upwards of 90% of their support. There was no groundswell of sympathy when the Marrs almost ruined Dundee, nor when Frankie Howerd did the same at Motherwell. Simple facts, are that if you regularly spend a pound more than you earn, it will catch up on you. That is economics, not religion. No living beyond your means, no matter who you are or who you think you are.

It would appear that some people do not like to be calles names which they consider offensive. the problem is that no all these people consider the use of the word Hun, Castle Greyskull to be offensive. As Rangers have been very successfull in winning silverware I would rather be in this situation and accept the so called offensive words that go with it. Somepeople need to grow up and stop acting like school children:wink:
