This is possibly my favourite Hibs away shirt of all time and was wondering if anyone owned it and would be willing to sell. Preferably size 34/36 or 38/40 but size is not essential. Been trying to get my hands on this for a long time!

Cheers

I have this shirt in 40/42 - but would hate to part with it - classy away strip notable in the modern age for not being sullied with sponsorship - from the year when the "team that wouldn't die" won the cup - still wear it occasionally for 5s!

There is one on ebay at the moment. Not cheap though.

They come up on eBay fairly regular but go for 30-70 quid depending on size and condition. My best mate has a match worn one stitched on number and embroidered badge I hate him

The home version of this is usually available on ebay etc, the away one is harder to find. I had the away one, gawd knows what happenned to it. Would like to get another one myself.

This is probably still my all-time favourite. Effing beautiful! Feast your eyes.

Saw a guy getting into a car in Lochend after the last St Johnstone game wearing this top. Would love to get my paws on another one. As I had mine when I was about 10 and I'm 40 now, wearing it now (if I still had it) might draw some amused looks. :faf:

I stupidly got rid of all my old tops in about 2000, including the one just after it, the 84/85 top.

£90 would be a fair price, especially if like the one in the auction it was mint and still in the wrapper. I 'took a break' from Hibs through most of the noughties for various reasons, and got rid of all my old tops. I'm in the process of trying to get my hands on adult sized replacements. So far I've managed to get the 92/93 home Bukta top and the 96-98 Mitre top. The 81-83 Umbro probably won't happen though, I'm resigned to failure on that count.

The 83-84 away top was a cracker too. They were way too tight then though. And the shorts????

Got it. Would have to ask Mrs Hiberlin for it back though. Gave it to her about 7 years ago as it was getting a bit erm....snug for me :-)

I have the shirt in question, but in a boys size.

My collection of Hibs strips growing up are on here - https://picasaweb.google.com/102100932128616983363/OldHibsStrips?authkey=Gv1sRgCLbxr7a4lqP8Fw# . This one just covers the pre-adult sizes, and will get round to making a more comprehensive album some time soon.

Love that away strip, how good would it look with the current badge instead of that beer bottle/planet saturn badge?

Yep both home and away and quite a few others, but I don't think I could ever part with them. I don't buy strips as much these days as the shape is not so complementary but I like having my old ones and the memories they stir.
