When adidas got the deal they said that the first strip would be a template one and then they would design a unique strip which is why we are changing so quickly after the last one. Seems like a bit of a con to get as much money as possible out of people but hopefully they have stuck to that and not just went with the usual template.

If they get rid of the current awful badge and replace it with something similar to the badge we had in the 70's I will probably buy it. Current badge looks as if they have managed to get a job lot from Gold Bros.

Looks pretty guff and not a patch on the recent umbro designs.

Have to agree about the embossed design peter plain would be better, the reason for the stripes is in consideration to the tournament/respect type patches that are generally on shirts these days the long sleeved one the stripes will take up again 2inches down thus allowing a clear panel for the application of a patch

Thats not actually the real kit, its pretty much the same but the adidas badge is on the right hand side, there is an embroided saltire under the collar at the front where the adidas badge is on this one.
