You get these surveys and TV programs mulling over who were the "icons" and most influential figures of certain eras like the seventies and eighties.

He would be top of the pile for the "naughties" in my opinion.

I'm no Apple fanboy, I don't own any Apple products, but what he did in that industry, amazing, many generations to come will benefit from his work.

Very sad day and I am genuinely gutted, got my macbook wallpaper as the memorial wallpaper of the great man himself. :aok:

If it wasn't for him, we'd all be like the Jambos, typing away on PC's instead of Apple Macs.

I don't like Apple products or the way they conduct their business but Steve Jobs was one of the true giants of the computing industry. RIP Steve.

What a surprise! Apple isn't a benevolent workers coop run by vegan Gratefuld Dead fans after all. It would be nice if Apple fanboys were aware of what their sexy devices really cost.
