Indeed this and the Schumacker as bad as they where the plyers likely got away with it due to keepers looking like going for vall for a all but brief second.

The link below is in my mind the most blatant foul never given I remember it from time, although not a bad foul in physical terms it is blatant and incredibly it was a play on.

For the Union! :hide:

Seriously though, he clearly gets the ball. Very unfortunate for the attacker.

The keeper definately didn't mean it, but it was still a very bad tackle. You can basically see the guys knee sticking right out, snapped or whatever. Horrible!

Think I agree...the keeper slides out and clears the ball, no intent on hitting the player at all.

The attacker is simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and suffers a horrible injury but I don't think it's comparable to the Schmacker assault at all.

I don't think they're anything alike - other than both involving goalkeepers.

This guy actually beats the attacker to the ball, clears it and it's the follow through that does the damage. Considering the way he's coming out, it would have been difficult to avoid.

Dont think i will bother watching now either. I remember watching Luke Nillis breaking his leg live on tv and had to turn away. Eduardos and Larssons too ugh. Not nice seeing those injurys. :no way:

I know what you mean but it's not that bad. I mean, the tackle is bad but it's not like you see bones breaking, limbs flying off, etc.
