Both erses but no doubt Stack would come out the better in that battle. He's a hardman.

He was being held and attempted to free himself is how I see it.

There's been a concerted effort from Rangers web sites to have this investigated to show that there is no bias shown against them (evidenced (?!!) in recent Naismith case).

They have said that they will study all SPL games to ensure parity.

This case is totally different to Naismith's. Naismith game the guy a sly elbow in the face for nothing. Stack was just encouraging Lafferty to stop lying on top of him. If he had hit him I'm sure Lafferty would know about it. Doubt they will investigate him for his part in the incident.

It's guaranteed Stacky will end with a similar suspension to Naismith so it doesn't look as if there's a bias against Rangers

Worth it, They could investigate me if it meant I got a pop at the cheating wimp. Pity Stack never got the chance to go 1 to 1 with this jellyfish and gave them something to investigate.

Don't you think it's strange that Rangers fans think there is bias against them, celtic think there is bias against them and the rest think there is bias towards the old firm. Just people reading far too much into things. But i do think stack will see a ban just because of naismith's ban. Least we have a good back up keeper.

Are there any pictures to substantiate this? Was it caught in camera? Anyone got a link / photo?

Saw it on STV sports news tonight. LAUGHerty is almost lying on top of Stack as he tries to get up. He slaps an open gloved backhand on to Laugherty's chest, an absolute nothing incident really. However, expect a one game suspension as somebody else said, just to make it look like no bias towards the sons of darkness (apparently we can't call them uns with the H prefix now)

I'd be annoyed if the authorities took action due to some perceived bias; that would be the wrong reason for action.

:grr: How many bloody players dive, and consistently do it. Yet tbh the first dive i can remember us doing in ages and we are punished. Get tae!!!

Seriously this and the Stacky incident are two strong examples of why I've always been against video evidence. For every time it supports an injustice in our favour it will highlight many more that we'll be punished for.

This is getting ridiculous, not even conclusive that it was a dive as there was a leg stuck out by the defender.

If this is true we may as well give up now, since when was an alleged dive a 2 match ban, it is punishable by a booking in a match so I don't see how they can justify this at all.

So if the referee is good at his job, spots the dive doesnt give the penalty and books the diver the player gets 2 penalty points BUT
If the refs no that good, doesnt see it as a dive and awards the penalty the player is punished with a 2 match ban. Perfect sense as always from Scottish Football authorities. :brickwall
