Faded a little in the second half, but so did the team as a whole. Apart from that he was Awesbourne.

Aye, he looks good now. As does Agogo. Maybe the gelling really is happening.

Agogo was a wee bit frustrating today I thought, lost possession quite a bit, do think there is something in there though.

Would agree with that, but there were a lot of positives from his play today as well. I like him.

Back on the topic of Ozzy, he was different class at times today. :agree:

I think that it was always reasonable to allow the new signings to at least get up to speed with match fitness before forming any definitive view on prospects for the team for the season although I acknowledge that many others on here and at matches don't share that view necessarily!

However, as these guys get match fit, it is clear that Osbourne is a class act who can and will again play at a higher level than the SPL. We should enjoy the prospect of having him starring in our team week in week out, making things happen offensively and breaking opposition play up defensively! :agree:

We simply need to get the defence sorted out now and we might just have a reasonable season after all! :aok: :tin hat:

IMO of course!

Ozzy was very good. 2nd best player from Sproule. Agogo was . Had he scored that chance at 0-0 then we would be talking a very different game.:agree:

I thought Osbourne was very good today, very committed in the middle and always looking to get forward, some good passing to the wide areas in the first half.

Cant agree for a minute that Sproule was the best player on the park, I thought he played well, but along way off the best. Especially seeing as his pash clearance led to their goal.

Yep, he did play well today.

I felt Towell was our best player, though.

Asked the 2 guys i went through with (Rangers fans) who was our best player, Ozzy was both of their choices, with Towell and Stack getting a mention as well.
Thought he was very good today.

A couple of weeks back I stated on here that I got the impression that IO would be no more than average at best, but for the last ten minutes of the first half of the St. Johnstone game (his overall performance was good) we saw an energetic and athletic performance that was equally good in both defensive and attacking aspects. I didn't see the game yesterday but my Dad said that he was very impressive, and I look forward to seeing if he can keep improving.

Did you go to the game?? If you did you would have seen he wasnt shiote. He missed a chance oh well he must be awful. If he scores it 0-1 but how many chances did Rangers pass up? We were lucky it was only 1-0 in the end. :smug:

Nice to hear, seems most of the players are now upto speed, we need to start alot more positive threads, will eventually filter to the players.

I thought Agogo was poor mate. Not just because of the miss just don't think he was involved enough in the game, could see he was trying hard though.
