Surely that was Osbourne's goal? It was going in whether it took a deflection or not.

According to Peter Houston, Ozzy handled the ball and the shot wasn't going in.

Heard other Hibees say it hit his hand but the highlights are inconclusive. But yes, it was Ozzy's goal. Even if Robertson hadn't touched it I reckon it had enough pace on it.

Houston is a bitter wee Jambo fud, who finds it immensely difficult to be graceful in defeat, or victory for that matter. He's been very loyal in carrying on Levein's brand of 'If you can't catch them, foul them' football.

There was a second United player on the line at the far post.

Reckon he would have cleared it away had the first player not done us a favour. :greengrin

He obviously though he was going to clear it but he was probably unaware that was standing a foot or so behind the goal line:greengrin

OK, if it was a deflection or not it was still a goal. Their third, the diving header, should have been disallowed as the scorer was off-side when the ball was played, no mention of this from Houston. The linesman, sorry assistant referee, got a number of off-side decisions wrong, some in our favour, some not, but anyway none of these decisions can now be changed and the result stands.
