Their tracksuits were numbered because they only got one each.Needless to say the team had proper numbering-not all this new fangled rubbish.

And no need for the number '1' on the goalie's jersey either.

I mean, it's a completely different colour from the rest of the team's. Whose else could it be, so why do they put a number on it?
