I am sure the club have maybe given this a thought but...

...next season, it'll be 40 years since Turnbull's Tornadoes had their finest hour(s).

If the club could release a 'tribute' strip of sorts, would there be a decent take up?

Just curious to get peoples thoughts. Cheers.

Going back to a more traditional top might be a good idea, particularly as this season's is a bit different. It's sold well though!

I'd love to see a retro 1972/73 strip next year. If fact I'd love to see us playing in jerseys like that forever - Hibs play in green tops, white sleeves and white, preferably rounded collar. To me that simple combination oozes class, tradition and originality so there's no need to ever change from that. I know that will never happen but nowt wrong with dreaming!

I also dream of a Hibs team next year as good as Turnbulls Tornado's and I've just remembered it's time to take my tablets.....

I'll see what the response is like here in the next 7-10 days and if it is decent, I'll see if I can contact someone at the club to see how possible it'd be.

I would love a proper retro shirt sadly with Hibs not getting a custom design I worry that it would be a rehash of the coventry shirt. You don't want to do this half arsed as the results could be awesome rangers and England have got it very right in the past (last season rangers) but look at hearts effort this year decent shirt probably the best a hearts fan could hope for(given its maroon) wrecked by a stupid sponsor

Would the fans go for this "proper" green I know a lot of the older guys would love to see us play in this shade I would too but people my age and younger might not see that as Hibs green, I seem to recall the fuss about the darker green on the current shirt and it not being "hibs green"

It's one of the things I plan to ask. I also need to get over the rest of the supporters websites, asked on 2 (the 2 .net's) but still need to ask on the Bounce and I believe there is a 4th site that I am unaware of - what is it?!

Brilliant mate. How about the the front of the collar but offset (similiar to the positioning of the nike and underarmour logo's on compression tops)? p.s. Tried to quickly use a white outlined badge but never had time to make it darker.

Different Class and a fantastic idea. I would embroider 7-0 into the left cuff and TT into the right cuff !!
