Interested to see how they get on as a defence. I know its against opposition of a similar age but given how rotten Hibs are at the back, would like to see what another manager gets out of the players.

Only 2,700 at this game last night. Shows exactly why it was a mistake to make Paisley the permanent home for the U21s.

But with a stadium capacity of just over 8000 then the atmosphere might have been ok.

The under 21 team are unlikely to attract a crowd in excess of say 10,000 and that was probably another factor in choosing St Mirren park as their permanent home.

Stupid that it is Paisley. With 4 Hibees playing i would have gone to it if at ER or EEP.

The Iceland game in October at ER had 12k at the game.

I don't think it's fair to compare the first qualifier in a campaign with a play-off second leg and I reckon it would've been a similar crowd at ER last night. However, I don't agree with making Paisley the permanent home for the 21s as a more important game (such as the Iceland match) can attract bigger crowds and would be a better experience for the players at a ground like ER.
