Just a quick question, Do you have to have watched all the series before going to see the film? Fancied going to see it but im only at the end of series 1.

I wouldnt think its necessary to have seen it all but it may contain some spoilers if you intend on watching seasons 2 and 3!

Nah, not really.

The only 'in jokes' referring to earlier incidents in the series was just the usual calling Neil's dad a poof IIRC.

The film is virtually a standalone effort in the way it has been written so no real need to watch all 3 series beforehand.
Saying that, I hadn't watched an episode since it finished last year so sat back and watched all 3 series again via Virgins on demand service, basically it's 4OD but through your telly box.
Genius of a series.

It's an ok film on it's own. It's good rather than brilliant but still worth watching.
